For long lasting color, start with a lip liner like Modern Classic Waterproof Lip Liner. We recommend pairing Very Black Cherry with Major Mauve and Sugar & Spice with Happy Hazelnut. Follow your lip liner by gliding this soothing lip color balm over your pout, starting at the center of your lips and working outward.

We completely understand your concern about its lasting power. The Jelly Balm is designed to provide a burst of hydration and a soft, natural color. However, because it’s formulated to be lightweight and nourishing, it might not have the same longevity as more matte or long-wear lip products.
To help it last a little longer, we suggest gently exfoliating your lips before applying, and then using a lip liner to help create a base for the color. You can also try setting it with a translucent powder around the edges to keep it in place for longer.
